About me

I am a happily married husband, father of two lovely children and a selfemployed photographer - wouldn‘t wanna switch with anyone ;)

I am truly grateful to be living my dream professionally, whilst being right there in the big and small moments we share as a young family.

My job enables us a pretty sweet lifestyle, which we enjoy a lot.

With our firstborn, we spent two months in Capetown, SA, where we combined exiting business-projects with spending lots of quality-time as a family, having wonderful encounters, new impressions and formative experiences.

Of course, we drove down the Garden Route, admiring the “Big Five“ out in the Southafrican nature. Just as precious were the personal encounters, the sense of a different attitude to life, and the friendships we cultivate to this day.

When it comes to my rule of life, Jesus Christ is my priority - followed by my lovely wife.

Me and my wife know and experience God as a loving father, mighty creator, good shepherd, faithful provider and everlasting lord, which is why we can both grant God this position in each others lives.

Doing this, we experience the blessing of having a shared foundation, the value of a personal relationship with God and the support we have in challenging times.

Something I love thinking back to are the backpacking-trips I went on with my brother: crossing the Alps on foot, hiking the Kungsleden in Northsweden, visiting Scottland as well as several different tracks here in Germany. With our tent and backpacks, we often spent up to three weeks out and about, away from civilization.

It‘s quite an adventure to be that far off the grid, surrounded by undisturbed nature. The longing for that kind of experience is still embedded deep within me, and I‘m courious for when I‘ll next have the time and space to follow it again.
